We're a Moving !?

Yup, that sure is right, we are moving out of our lovely, po dunk, rat hole of an apartment. When are we moving you ask? On Friday. When did we find out when we were moving? Yesterday, yes yesterday.
Don't worry, I will fill you in....

I have written proof, that our contract says our renewal date is the end of SEPTEMBER, not AUGUST- but here is where we have a little hiccup in out plan to move out during the month of September...

Yeah, Mr. Manager (who is about 4 brain cells short of a fence post) wrote the renewal date down wrong on our contract. He then told us we had a couple of options!
Oh goodie! maybe this wont be the headache that it could possibly be?? HA! Don't be naive Tonya.

option 1) Sign another year lease to our contract, then have it be our responsibility to sell the contract when we move in September as we we're planning

option 2) Move in 4 days.

As our apartment complex has been ridiculous from the day we moved in, we opted for the ladder, rather than to fight it.

But as we are moving, lets take a minute to reminisce about all the wonderful memories of our apartment....

1- the carpets that were never cleaned when we moved into our place (over 7 months ago)- and yes, they did promise to do this.
2- the 3 months of sleeping on a mattress in our family room downstairs, as it never cools down below 90 degrees in our bedroom
3- the air conditioning unit that smokes and sparks when you try to plug it in to cool down your 90+ degree bedroom
4- praying every night that the ceiling fan above our heads as we sleep on the front room floor, wont fall out of the ceiling from overuse
5- the soft, distant smell of mold...which is probably growing under our carpets that have never been cleaned.

At least I have hated this place with every ounce of my being, for so long, that I am acutally happy in a way, that we will be done with it so soon. Nevermind the fact that it will be near impossible to move everything out in our alloted time frame- mostly because just walking up the stairs exausts me more than I would have ever imagined possible... Lucky for me my husband has plenty of free time this week ;)

You better hurry and get out before you get some weird disease from the carpet.

Good Luck! Sorry you are still not feeling well. Just think of it this way. YOur baby won't have to learn to crawl on that yucky carpet!

Aren't there enough Holmans in that valley to make many hands to make the work light? I bet there are! Too bad we left just in time!
